I have always played my Trumpet for my own personal enjoyment and have never really played with another Humane being before. I really wanted to get involved with my community colleges Marching, Concert and Jazz band. All three require you to audition. I have no Idea how to prepare myself for the auditions our what to expect. So am a little nervous. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i agree with the other dude. playing with others is good. the thing that i`ve found helps is the more times you do it the less hard it becomes. my first chair tests were horrid and after awhile i just got used to them. another thing that you of course should already know is : to know your music like the back of your hand. also, before you play dont think about it. wait till after you play to worry about it. i dont know if you can understand but just think about the music its self...not how your going to play it. i wish you the best of luck and hope i helped. peace
