My jazz band is playing Gospel John and our first is trying to figure out maynard's solo. If anyone knows it or can give us help in figuring it out please let me know.

Why dosnt he just make his own? If you really want to figure it out tho just listen to it like a million times till you can play it by ear.

He is working on figuring it out or something similar but in 2 weeks he has figured out like 6 bars so i was hoping someone might be able to give him a boost.

which solo from which recording of it do you need?

i don't know what different recordings there are but i guess any one would work

any chance u can get me the sheet music for that possibly the score that would be very gratefully appreciated
