My mission is to make everybody to have some fun playing the trumpet. Although I'm already an experienced player already doesn't means that I won't help nobody. I myself would like to contribute to this site as I make my goal.

glad to hear it. can you give me some good exercises or tips to improve my range. Also I'm thinking or switching my mouthpiece from a 3c to a 10 3/4e maybe with a narrower rim, what are your thoughts on that? Also Would that be a good switch if I'm looking to improve my range?

hey! wow long time I haven't come to this site. Man I have been busy that I even don't have time to go on the computer. Well anyway let me tell you something first, go with the mouthpiece you've already have. No other mouthpieces will help you gain the capacity to play higher because I use a 7c and I obtain the capacity to play higher notes like that of a triple c believe me because it all comes down to just pinpointing the location of the little hole inside the mouthpiece(if you know what I mean)and by doing that you'll have to make a little hole on your lips and don't tighten too much the corners of the mouth. Just keep it relax not too stiff. And also don't blow too hard just lightly. And about the exercises just do whatever you can but just practicing is by far the best method that I can tell you as far as strategy wise, but if you have all the technical things like knowing how to blow the trumpet and the fingering, then you may go farther. Any other thing you'll like to know just feel free to send me a messege. Thanks.
