I sometimes play along with the radio or cd's. What other ways are there to learn by ear? I know it helps with Jazz impro. It's also quite impressive to be able to reproduce something you've just heard, lol. I wouldn't mind getting good at it.

If you get some music theory and note recognition under your belt, playing by ear will fall into place. Who doesn't like reproducing what they hear?

Yeah, I wish I was that good. I can usually play something by ear after I've heard it several times.
