there is about 170 ppl in my highschool marching band. there was 150 last yr. every yr the number goes up quite a bit. We have a big brass section. We have 8 tubas it makes an awesome low brass sound and they dance too!! :D

ours is about 150 members, im not 100% sure if thats exact but it goes like this:
Piccolos: 2
Flutes: 7
Clarinets: 14 (wooh my section!)
Trumpets: 11
Alto Saxes: 9
Tenor Saxes: 3
Trombones: 8? 9? not sure
Mellophones: 3
Baritones: 4
Tubas: 3
Dance Line: 9? not sure
Gaurd: 9? not sure
Pit: 9
Drumline: 3 snares, 4 basses, 2 cymbals, & 2 quads

I think this is about right, we are big though and have no majorettes, Mr. Ferris thinks they're annoying so he dissolved them a long time ago, I'm happy that I have the biggest section this year ^_^
