Im sorry but i am so sick and tired of all of the completely sexist remarks coming from pathetic "trumpet players" who just happen to be "blessed" with male genitalia. Knock it off. seriously...I've been reading through these forums and some of you guys just make me sick. Not all female trumpet players are ugly. Not all girl trumpet players are skanky, and those who dont fall into either of those characteristics dont always suck. Please just grow up...we're not in kindergarten and this is the 21st century. Im trying not to sound like a women's rights advocate but holy crap guys...we're talented musicians and we deserve respect.

I agree, I personally feel that us females have to continue to fight the force that 'boys are better then girls' and 'boys play brass, girls play flutes'. I mean GET OVER IT!!! Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I have to play a bad instrument, Brass is the best, and it's because the girls playing these brass instruments, I feel is if some of the guys are making fun of us because we are better than them, so, get out there girls, show them that we are Good!!!

You're right, we have been "blessed" with male genitalia, Don't get angry because you weren't so fortunate

<Added>

haha its not the size of the staff that counts, its how you use it...so honestly, higher does not always equal better and neither does the fact that you dont happen to have ovaries. honestly, congratulations...you probably have a higher range than me curtis...but that doest warrant picking petty fights in a musicians forum due to an obvious inferiority complex. it okay to want to be the best.

to everybody else out there.
you know what bothers me more than guys that look down on girls? ...girls that completely fill the stereotype. Theres this girl in my section at school, and she just transferred from clarinet...i just want to strangle her! lol i know it takes time but my goodness...she makes me want to throw her clarinet at her head. haha

Curtis, trumpetFOOL, you two are jerks. Get out of 1st grade and grow up! I don't get what you've got against females, but you're sure not going to attract any this way.
