I just purchased a used Paramount Artistry trumpet for an unbeatable price, and was told by the owner that he's owned it for 70 years and bought it used then. I've never heard of this brand before, but it has an ornate logo on the bell, is silver, and says Chicago on it next to a serial number. I'd love to be able to look up this serial number, just to see how old it really is and gain some information on it, but I can't find anything on this company. Has anyone heard of it before? I'm not concerned about the appraisal, b/c I love it, it plays wonderfully, and it's beautiful, and that's all that matters to me, but I just want more info on the company, so I can say how old it really is and know what I bought. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!
