All time favorite has to be the Maynard Ferguson. And the best recording I've heard is the funky version of Pagliacci. If you haven't heard it, you have to check it out. It's even got a cool jazz flute solo with multiphonics (and that's about the only time you'll ever here me say "cool" and "flute" in the same sentence).
