I was looking a at some pics of trumpets (bored) and I saw a picture of an "alto" trumpet. What is the difference between it and just a pocket trumpet? I was just curios because I have never heard of alto or soprano trumpets, though I have seen trumpets in other keys. I guess you learn something new everyday!

wow... there are many different types of trumpets, you can get a basic Bb trumpet, Eb, Piccolo, Alto... lots. they`re either higher or lower in pitch because the instrumpet is longer or shorter and also depending on the number of valves
