Hi. I'm a student at the middle school. I play trumpet not so long (about two months). I played with Jupiter JTR-606MR and with B&S 435 model. Now I'm going to buy a new instrument.I am interested in Getzen instruments. Have you any ideas for this brand?

I have been playing for 35 years. I help at my local middle school in the beginner band program. I suggest buying or renting a student trumpet first, King or Yamaha. There is no need to spend big buck on a Bach or any other brand until you see how you like playing the trumpet. If you stick with it a couple of years and know you want to continue in high school, then look for a good horn then. One reason for this is professional horns are usually big bore horns and take a lot of air to fill up. Not the best thing for someone learning how. Also us a middle of the road size mouthpiece, 7C. Don't go crazy buying a bunch of different mouthpieces until you train your chops. Hope this is some help to you.

If you've only played for two months, you won't know what you need. Stick with what you've got, and develop a little more before you start looking to trade up.

Yes, I play not so long. But now I know, that I want to be a good player, so next year I'll study at music conservatory.

I stand by what I say. Get good on your beginner model before trading up to an intermediate one. The only person who can really tell you when that is would be a private teacher.

I've played Conns before. They're a decent beginner-intermediate make, depending on the model number.

Well, as a beginner, look into getting a Conn Elkhart, if that's the brand you've decided on. Free valves are definitely a must. The next thing that absolutely MUST be working is the third valve slide. No trumpet player worth his salt plays a trumpet with a sticky third valve slide. If you don't want a Conn, get hold of a Getzen 390 or Blessing B127.
