Personally, I like lessons (especially private). It is a great way to quickly learn to play any instrument. But under your circumstances, play-along books are also a great way to learn(music itself, theoretically, is not music without accompaniment). However, assuming that you haven't played for a while probably the best book you could ever get is the trumpet bible, or in other terms, the Arban's Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet. Read from cover-to-cover, and satisfying results will come with practice. At first it might seem boring and "you'll never get it...". Have patience, and you will improve. Go here as well:
http://www.trumpetthink.com/embouch.htm - it is a list of embouchures that you can choose from to play. There is no "one right embouchure". You can also go to your local music/book store like Kennelly Keys or Half-Price Books. They always have music there available, play-along or not. Otherwise, you can go here for play-along books:
http://www.kennellykeysmusic.com/search.php?mode=search&page=1 - I have the Haydn Trumpet Concerto book with a CD, and it is great (in the key of Bb too!)
The best of luck to you!
