I am thinking of getting back into playing brass. My experience with instruments is pretty vast. I tend to have a very powerful sound and tendency to over blow. I have trouble playing say a Bach 37 since I find it way to constricting. I have however tried a Taylor 470 bore trumpet and had no problem what so ever. I was just wondering if anyone plays a Taylor and if it would be a good fit for a small jazz, and community band playing. I also really like their flugelhorn, and would prefer to play that instead but am afraid it would limit my chances with more group playing. What is your consensus?
