I can play a c 2 octaves abovethe staff and usually get the e above it i`m 13 years old and i started playing when i was 11. Range is something that comes naturally to me. but if you want to increase your range u should try doing the followin. move your mouthpiece down on your face so that a third of it is on top. cram all the lip you`ve got into it and blow. don`t pinch or you`ll always be known as the wanna` be who thought that they could play high. moving your mouthpiece will seem wierd at first but after a while it gets to be really comftorable. don`t move ur mouthpiece to the side of your lips. all of what i`ve told u is stuff u can find in the arban`s book. this doesn`t help your range but it feels comftorable also play long low tones and do a lot of lip slurs.
