I have played trumpet for a little less then 2 years. But my range goes from the lowest note right befor the pedal notes(f sharp below the staff) and the high e about the staff. I just wondered if this is typical or i am doing really good. Thanks

I`m a student myself but let me tell you that I think you`re good.

I play for Six month and I could hit the high E but not all the times.

If you could hit it easy that means you`re good.

I have been playing for almost 3 years and the highest note i can squeek out is a High F above the lines, but it doesn`t matter how high you can hit you have to be able to play good more than anything.

im in 7th grade, been playing since 5th, and i can constantly squeeak the high C (above the staff). I cant judge your skill from your range. Two completley different areas.
