Im in eighth grade and I can hit an f with ease but not quite a G. I just started to be able this year.

After 11 years of playing trumpet I`m now on a high A but:

You have to work as hard as you can to play very high notes!

im in the 7th grade and i can play the first A above the staff

i could get high c after....a year and a half

3 months was a d-e sometimes f -middle

Double C after 3 months, I played trombone before that sooo...

You shouldn`t worry about how high you play after 3 months?!?! right now since your just starting out you should work on your tone and slurs. Maybe even pedal tones. Im a freshman in highschool so just trust me.

Id say about a middle e or f. Sat last all the time. I had a beginning band teacher who said that I didnt have the chops to play the trumpet. She said that I should do percussion. She really helped my self esteem. Ah well, I wish I could see her again, Id show her! Oh, basically im known all over the state, mostly by my nickname which stuck since my freshman year at high school. I have been a pretty good lead player since my junior yr at high school. Hehe, that lady was mean, why did they ever give people like her a teaching position? Ah well....
