I have been using a Bach 10 3/4 CW for more than 50 years and get a good tone and range on Bb trumpets. I recently inherited a soprano trumpet and a piccolo trumpet but I can,t get a decent tone. I think a 10 3/4 EW might be a good choice but I hate to spend $50 - $100 on something that might not help. Any suggestions?

Usually players will use smaller mouthpieces on the smaller horns. The only way you can be sure of the mouthpiece you would like is to visit the largest trumpet store you can find and spend some time trying them all.

Also remember that no matter which mouthpiece you like, it the pic will never be the same tone you are used to on the regular Bb.
