I was wanting to know if anyone can tell me how to cycle breath. I have seen it done before , but I really would like to know how you do that and how long it may take you to get it down with practice everyday.

You breathe in through your nose while breathing out through your mouth. People learn it so they play longer phrases without a breath but if I were you I would just build up your breath support. I can`t do it and I don`t really want to. Just my opinion.

You play normal and when you`re about to run out of air, you fill your cheeks with what air you have left and play with that as you breathe through your nose. I have yet to master this but one kid in my band can do it and play continuously for 10 minutes!

Wow that is a long time. I have a freiend that can somewhat do it, but he has not mastered it either. Thanks for the help... anymore guys?
