I practice my trumpet every day, hoping to expand my range. I also try to get nice clear sounds so ill be ready for the songs I play in my school band. But one day when I was practicing, I accidentally jammed the mouthpiece into my mouth. A zit formed on my upper lip, after this happened I can no longer play any note above G. The zit is gone, but I still can't play those notes, I just get a bad, dull sound. What do I do?

How long ago since you got your zit? Has it healed yet? Many trumpet players split their lip(s) during a heavy session but they just carry on despite the pain. It's a hard life baby! Do you use low pressure? It might be worth a try. Other than that, just keep trying, it'll come.
