Is anyone interested in buying a vintage Besson New Creation trumpet in excellent condition with modern case and a selection of mutes and a Rudy Muck 13C mouthpiece? In case this is of any interest it's the same typed that was played by Eddie Calvert and Kenny Baker and another famous bearded and bow tied guy whose name escapes me. But they were all successful entertainers and made lots of dough and could afford the best. It's lacquer finished, large bore and plays really well. My reason for selling? Getting fed up with having it around and no longer playing it.

The bow tied guy's name was Kenny Ball. But since nobody seems interested in the horn I've started playing it again, to the annoyance of my wife and the neighbours. Strangely I find my lip is ok for the higher notes (above C5) but not so good for lower ones (below G4). Has anyone else had the same experience?
