What ever you do don`t hold it under the fire!!
Try to put some oil around the mouthpiece and turn the mouthpiece to get it loose.
Well this is what I could tell you if you have hard time get some one strong to pull it out but be careful don`t damage the horn.
Good Luck

I have the same problem with my soprano sax. The mouthpiece gets stuck, even when I put cork grease on the cork. All I can say is put some oil around the part that goes into the body of the horn and try to twist it off.

Take it to your band director, he will have a mouthpiece tool that will get it out without damaging. Or if your not in a band, go to your local music store, they`ll do it for free also.

Take it to a music store, I`d say. They have a special instrument to pull out the mouthpiece.

My real question is, WHAT DO YOU DO IF MOUTHPIECE PULLERS DON`T WORK????? I`ve never seen my band director not be able to loosen a mouthpiece with his bare hands (so weird thing he learned from a psyc. teacher, long story) anyway, he removed my trumpet mouthpiece once, then couldn`t get it off with his hands or mouthpiece pullers. WHAT DO I DO NOW?????? Please help.

Get the instrument to a qualified repair technician. I recently threw away a whole box of trumpet lead pipes I had collected from horns where people tried to pull mouthpieces with their hands or pliers.
Seldom will the horn give you any indication as to when the braces will snap or the mouthpipe will kink.
A good repair shop will have tools and techniqes that your band director could not possibly afford.
