have any of you ever played a soprano bugle i hear them in the drum & bugle corps they sound awesome. besides being in a different key than trumpet is their any other differences. like fingerings

Hi... I am from Germany and I`m marching in a DBC.

We first played trumpet an then changed to Soprano.

There are only differences in volume and range. On a soprano you can play more powerful notes and its easier to play high notes but the fingering is the same like on a trumpet.

Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap soprano trumpet???
