I have played the flute for a few years, but it was never really my choice to play it. I have finally been able to find somewhere to rent a trumpet for a month so I can see how I like it. Anyways I was wondering what books did you use to learn the trumpet. I used the S.O.E. to learn the flute but I didn`t really think it was good any suggestions?

We used Accent on achievement. But buy books 1&2 though because if you aren`t using a teacher, you`ll tear up the first one with ease.

Most of it is just teaching rhythms and stuff and since you already play the flute you already know.

I also learned from the Essential Elements book, too. It`s easy because it comes with a c.d. to play along with.
