hey guys..ok il get straight to the point.
iv bin messin around lately n iv hit this note a few times- i dont know what it is

il try to explain, ok u no how the middle c is open, then g, then c? wel that`s 3 open notes, wel i reached 2 open notes above the first c above the stave..make sense?i duno how else to explai it lol

plz rite bac, im dying to noe.

hi guys iv got exactly the same question..i dont know what note it is- i cant believe it, that is if iv undertood u correctly, two open notes above the first c above the stave-high c?

i just want to know ur opinion guyz, get this. i`ve bin playing trumpet for about 9 months and i can reach high g and occasionally high c, is that average? Please write back. Thanks.

Trumpet is an harmonic instrument. it means that the trumpet vibrate at different frequencies. All notes that can be played with open fingering are part of the "open" harmonic scale. an average (college) player will have around 7-8 notes in there harmonic scale. The more you go higher the more the harminic become closer.

C - G - C(staff)- E - G - Bb - C - D - E - F - F# - G ...

Those are the principal harmonic... after that you enter the extreme high register.

For a begginner it is normal to have only 4 harmonic. For a student at high school. having 5 harmonic is a good thing. For an advance High school student. 7 harmonic is often rquired ( i had gotten to play HIgh C and even High E ( above staff) some times). A good music student ( univerisity) will easily have 12-15 harmonic. For My self I normaly have around 11-13... depends on Good day/bad day

ya`ll stink I have been playing trumpet a year a can hit the E above the C (2 ledger lines above the staff
