What is yhe best way to perform vibrato on trumpet?
I read that there are 3 way : with right hand like vibrato on violin, moving the jaws, and modulating diafragmatic pressure. Are all correct? Do they produce different sounds?

Hi Marco,
I use jaw and right hand, depending on situation. I think it is up to you, but I will be reading the feed-back with interest as well.
I find jaw is good for orchestral and classical work, probably more finesse and not as obvious. The hand I use for Jazz and visual affect, and it is more accentuated, for me at least (I think).
I have stayed away from any change to lips and pressures so my sound is more stable.
The Best advice is to have at least 2 in your bag of tricks, and feel comfortable to use them, depending on situation and degree of vibrato required.

I use both jaw and stomach muscles. I find that playing in the high register, diaphramatic vibrato is better because the appurature is so tiny while playing high, moving it around can make the pitch crack easily.
