I`ve recently got Once Upon a Summertime from Chet Baker and I like it very much. Can anyone tell me about other albums from Chet ?
I`d also like to know what are the album that a jazz trumpeter is supposed to listen to (M. Ferguson,Gillespie, Sandoval, Davis).

I got a DVD "Chet Baker Live at Ronnie Scott`s. More an autobiography, but easy listening. Not real sizzle, but good music.

Listen to as much as you can. MF-Maynard Ferguson, James Morrison (Aussie), Doc S,Miles Davis, there`s heaps. And listen to other instrumentalists as well, for the phrasing and intonations... There`s a thread "Who`s the best trumpeter today??" some real good suggestions for CDs.
