I am 43 years old, professional trumpet player in the symphony orchestra, all the time I play trumpet I have large and rich sound, all this time I have a problem with high register. Some day I decided that two top first teeth are too long and they mix for top lip freedom, so I came to dentist and asked him to do both first top teeth 2 mm shorter . He successfully does it. It was one and half year ago. My abilities even in middle register became worse so I was disappoint because I was waiting another result after surgery, though it was much more freedom for my top lip. That time I plaid with Bach 2 ½ mouthpiece, two months ago I took mouthpiece smaller – Shilke 14 B but still I have the same problem.
Tell me please if I may improve my situation.

Your best solution to your problem, is to find an experienced player/expert.

I think the best advise would be not to change your mouthpeice so much UNTIL you find a pro.
