Hi, I am a busy working function band trumpet player and last night experienced major pain in my lower lip. A small spot like lump appeared on my inner lip and all one side of my lower lip has become inflamed and is very tender to touch. It looks like and feels like a bruise. Will Arnica Cream assist at all, if not is there anything I can use? I am gigging all this weekend and at present experience major pain when trying to play. This is the first time that this has occured in my 15 years of playing.

Thank you

Lee

Sounds bad. See the Doc.

I`d see if there are some Anti-Inflamatory Drugs that may help. An ice-pack may also reduce the swelling. Check it out quick, you don`t want to mess around with it. Lay off aggravation (playing) until you see the Doc.
