Hi everyone, my name is matt noble and im a 16 year old trumpet player from Pa.
im mostly an orchestral player however i play on a 1955 martin committe model.(raw brass) its worked fine for me and i love the way it blows in jazz band. its even got me to all state orchestra. however, im applying to schools soon and know i will be doing much more orchestral playing and am interested in buying a C trumpet. can anyone help me out with some opinions on what they play or have played on. likes and dislikes? thanks a bunch.

I have never played one! I have always use Bb, the C is a bit od a specialist unit.

I cannot comment, but Dr Karl may offer some suggestion, if orchestral then Bach are usually the standard to compare against.
