...Really nicely with no wrong notes or squeaking or any stuff like that but..no style.. I wish she could (thats right, my music taecher) listen to me when i practice at home. i play nicely annnd musically with style but in my lesson she freaks me so io go al mechaniceal n i sound really fake..anything BUT musical.

i know this is really weird since most people complain either boout their range or endurance..(wel i kinda hav those probloems too, but i know how to fix them..just how am i spose to fix this!!??)

Any suggestions wil b appreciated

your teacher is trying to make you a better musician all around. focusing on something you can already do will only make you so good. she is trying to focus you in other aspects of performance on the trumpet... endurance is needed in a lot of music... even the prettiest pieces (take Haydn`s stuff for example) just practice speed and you will understand what she is trying to do a lot better. it is not hard... always practice your scaled, major and minor to the point were you can just run through them all without thinking. this will help you with a lot of FAST runs and cadenzas. Never judge your teacher, she`s made a job out of her passion, she know`s what it takes to make it to the top!!
