In referance to the (fill in the blank brand) Trumpets, STAY AWAY. those Trumpets are junk, you`re much better off with a Bach,Getzen,Benge,King so on and so on, the first horn i bought was a $250.00 First Act (made in china) and 2 weeks later after dealing with sticking valves, Skittish slides and bad tone, i bought a Benge Limited Edition. i could tell the difference and i`ve only been playing for 2 months, if you`ve been playing for 4 years consistantly, The Yamaha Xeno or Bach is a solid bet, The Bach tr200 is a Student Horn, made to take dings and dents, but lets face it, after 4 years i`m sure you know how to respect your trumpet. everyday i go to Ebay and look at horns, and it seems there is an auction ending every 10 minutes on Trumpets. Good Luck

I have a Stomvi, it`s a spanish trumpet. Very nice sound and very beautiful (silver with a little gold on the valve)! Not really expensive

I enjoy my Conn 52B, wonderful tone, comes with heavy weight caps and reverse lead pipe for those crisp slurs and response. Plays good with Jazz, and great for orchestra work with the weight caps. Play test the trumpet you buy! Dont buy even if you like it, try it the next day to see if it plays the same.
