hi, i`m from the uk so what i`ll say probably makes more sense to other abrsm exam people. i did my grade 8 2 years ago (grade 8s the highest exam you can do before you look at diplomas etc.) and i`ve been playing since then, had a level music recital to prepare for last year and since then been travelling and played in a cuban band so am still in practice but now i`m back in the uk want to get back down to practicing.
can anyone suggest any good pieces? would like a challenge, something classical with a touch of jazz or latin.
been looking at carnival of venice, good fun but a bit dry...
thanks in advance, its great to read all the forums and trumpet stuff..

if carnival isnt good enough for you then you should write your own stuff if you have honestly mastered carnival and didnt like it try it up an octive then we will all bow down to you
