I have a section of about twelve seasoned trumpet players that needs a powerful, rousing cheer to play for our school`s sporting events. While I`ve looked at adapting some rock music (e.g. We Will Rock You--Queen) and classical pieces (O Fortuna), I still haven`t found something that speaks to me. Do you have any suggestions?

Play the opening statement from Hummel`s Concerto in Eb. Take it up an octave if you can and just wail. That would be awesome. Otherwise, Carry On Wayward son with the trumpet solo/soli is pretty cool.
