I`ve heard it is possible.. in fact, I know it is possible since I watched someone do it. But they wouldn`t tell me how.. does anyone here know?

One of the notes is caused bye playing the instrument, and the other is caused by singing. Singing while playing is very difficult, and rather useless, but if you really want to, you can figure out how to do it. It takes a great deal of practice to get it to sound good.

Due to the size of the mouthpiece, the option is to play one note, and sing the other.
James Morrison can do 3 notes at once on Trombone. Plays 2 and sings the 3rd, so he does a chord...very effective for affect. I have not heard him play trumpet with two actual lip notes, but he would be the one to follow...
Aussie Didgeree-do players do the two, and they invented cyclic breathing...so it`s not new.. it does take practice.
