Has anyone on this forum ever played a trumpet (such as the Stomvi) with a titanium bell? How about a crystal glass bell? Any comments on how these actually play compared to what the manufacturer says would be greatly appreciated.

Well, my friend in my college jazz band plays a stomvi but no titainium bell or crystal bell. The crystal bells have a very crystal clear sound like the name of the bell. I have heard them and they sound very nice though.good luck

I play on a Stomvi (Forte). I don`t understand what you mean by "bell" (i`m dutch) and i don`t know what the manufacturer say. But i find it a great instrument! The sound is very good, the price is good compared with the qualtity. When i bought it, my conductor and people in that shop told me that i bought the jewel, the treasure of the trumpets! I like the Stomvi! You hae to try it! You`ll be crazy about it.
And it looks very very good!
