hola,
ok this may seem like quite a weird problem:
i can not play loud. at band iv been called "wussy" and the picollo is louder that u. Im afraid of being a showoff because the other two girls are a year above me who are also first.I moved up to first so theyre jealous and if i play loud they dont like it..most of the music goes up to g (i no we suc) and they cant play it but i can so if i play loud then i can be heard but then i get picked on..
i want to move up to senior band but the director thinks its me who cant play and them who can
any tips!?!?!?

Play according to the written music requirement. ppp is as important as fff. So only worry about what the Conductor/Band Director want.
Swing and enjoy playing. Forget the others. Keep your tone and pitch as you go louder.

trumpets are show offs don`t you get it we have to be or else we suck. you have got to have the feeling that you are perfect and work to be that way. have fun play the best you possibly can and show off while you do it. it`s not who we are but it`s what you do.
p.s i`m better than you
p.p.s now get mad at me and go practice your fanny off to be able to say that you are the best trumpet player in the world
p.p.p.s if someone said that to me i might just get a lot better

Next time they are playinf really loud listen to what it sounds like. loudness is not always good when it sounds like crap. It`s better to have a good tone than to be really loud. Just be confident in your own playing abilities and get better than all of them. After all, you do play the trumpet.
