My friend is teaching me how to play trumpet, I`m playing it well and I enjoy but trombone is my major instrument. I found that I normally play the trumpet with my top lip on top of the mouthpiece, my friend is telling me not to do this because it will screw up me embouchure. Any tips from trumpet-trombone duel players? Any suggestions on how to duel up on trumpet in other areas would be helpful too.
