Should I switch? Would it be hard? What do you guys think? I love hearing trumpets and I want to play.

Hi!
It`s so weird! I was just in that situation!!! In my school band I played clarinet. I always loved hearing the sound of a Trumpet, so I tried it! I love it!!! You don`t have to worry about a reed,or 7 peices of a clarinet to put together, as a Trumpet only has 2 peices to put together and no reed! Go ahead, try it, I give you a 100% chance that you will love it!!!!!

Go ahead and try it. There is nothing wrong with playing more than one instrument. The more the merrier except for time limitations when it comes up to mastery.
I played the trumpet for 9 years but had to stop after my braces came off, I haven`t played for almost 6 years now, but my new dentist says I might be able to once my wisdom teeth come out.
Anyway I now play the piano, flute, and clarinet.
So enjoy the trumpet is great. Whatever you do don`t forget your clarinet.

I`ve been playing trumpet for 6 years now. Just remember, there`s a huge diff. between brass and woodwind instruments. It`ll take some getting used to, especially to develope your sound. But hey, go for it.
