Hi guys, Im searching for a new trumpet mouthpiece. Any price. I have a shilke 15a4 and a Yamaha 16c4........none work for me as they are to big for my chops. I have real thin lips. Could you recommend a good mouthpiece? What mouthpieces are you playing on? Any one play a monette or Taylor made mouthpiece? What are they like?

Try a smaller Yamaha with the same depth, like a 14C4. Otherwise, if you have the money, Monette is the way to go. Try something like a B3 or B4.

wats the difference before the b3 and b4? my trumpet very bell heavy (xeno) so i need a fairly heavy mouthpiece to balance it out aswell.

The Monette B4 is slightly shallower and smaller than the B3. Either one is a good mouthpiece.
