i seem to have like two different ways-i think nearly everyone does..i really dont know how to explain it..i dont mean two different embouchers although i do- but its sorta like this...
the first note i hit i try to make my mouth really small so the note comes out high(open i duno wat note) then i coime down and it feels like its all the air and muscles doing the job which is good..but when im ascending i tend to use pressure..why is this? and what are your comments on this weird problem?
thanks

wow ok this sounds wierd... I `ve had the problem with putting to much pressure on when I go high. But from 2 years of lessons I have found out that no matter what note you are going for your ambusher should not really change that much. It should only get tighter on the corners of your lips when you go for high notes. I hope this helps!
hint: try watching your self in the mirror when you play and watch your ambusher!! I know sonunds silly but it really does work

Yes, he is right, no matter what notes you are playing, your emboucher should not change. Yea, it will move a little bit, but i see freshman trumpeters come in pointing their horn down to play high-foolish. I have gotten to the double D and the only thing that changes with my mouth is the tension, if you feel like your blood vessels are going to explode, you are doing it wrong, don`t force it, practice.
