I don`t know if this is going to work, you should try it. When you slur still move your tongue in a tonguing movement, just don`t tough your lip with it. You will still be sluring, but at least you are moving your tongue. Let me know if this helps.

it sounds like you`re using your whole tounge...use only the tip and when you go to play tounged say dit as your buzzing I think you are using a more dah type of sound now as your play`n if you say dit your tounge should hit the rough of your mouth behind your teeth. I hope this helps keep me posted!!!

hey, you`re in beginner band. Don`t worry about it. :-) tonging is weird to get used to.

It`s a good habit to get into, tounging just do what W said and it will work out. And also remember to pratice, practice, practice as you`ll get so far.

well, the piece of music that requires this is GRADED and well, i`ve always been very good in band since i started (which is only a few months ago) and i get 100 on report card everytime! but i will take in ALL of these suggestions.

>:0) yes, i may only be in begininer band, bryan, but that doesnt mean i shouldn`t worry. but i have been learning to tongue for like 6 months now, so i should be able to at least be used to it!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
