i have been playing the trumpet for like a year and i have developed a problem. when i play fast notes on my trumpet, my throat kind of moves. this has not happened before and now i has become an irritating habit. plz help! and i dont really understand tounging that much. my teacher says i am tounging but i dont really understand. i dont even use my tongue for playing. i use air from my throat and i dont understand.

O.K. First, take your mouthpiece only, and "buzz". When you do this, whisper "TA TA TA" into the mouthpiece. try your hardest not to use your throat! Hope this helped in any way possible, if not, I`m sorry, and good luck
