I have played trombone for 7 years and played around with a trumpet last year. I recently have picked up the soprano trombone which uses a trumpet mouthpiece. My embouchure is really messed up on it though. At first I had no range then i switched so i am now centered. However, ever since i switched i have been getting a loud airy almost staticy sound on it when i play I currently use a bach 3c. Any tips?

IIRC Parduba makes a mouthpeice that makes it easy to switch between trombone and trumpet. Never tried though. That`s just what they advertise
