I`m getting a pretty nifty tax return this year, and should have it very soon. I know I`m going to buy a new mouthpiece with it. I`m going to go through music123.com`s MPC trial program, where you can "check-out" up to 4 at a time. I`ve always wanted to try out a parduba harry james 5. What other recomendations are there? Bobby Shew? Al Cass? Jet Tone Al Hirt? I`ve always been kinda curious about bach 10.5C. I`ve used 3,5 and 7C`s and have been un impressed. You guys use any of these others before?

I know for sure that I`m trying the parduba james model 5. That leaves me 3 slots.

Well depends. What kinda horn do ya play, and uh what is the perpose of this mpc? Concert, lead, all round? I fell in love with warburtons especially with there style of rim. Im checkin out the yamaha shew lead and i like it alot. I play on some freakish MPC that came with a horn that i bought that i think ill never part with. Oh BTW, if the mouthpiece jiggles a little bit after being secured in the reciever, there is a problem with gap and leadpipe stuff. That really does hurt the sound being produced and will effect your decision on what MPC u get so make sure to take that into account. For the longest time i wondered what was going on with my lead piece because i had a better sound on the mpc that came with the horn, especially in the upper register. Well it happened to be that and when i put my lead piece in another horn that was much more secured i blew paint off of walls. So yea mix matching manufacturers of horns and mpc`s is risky. "Thats why monette says my mpc`s my horns."
