OK what is the big deal about the bach megatones? I`m really curious about them. I have been looking in to them but I want to know how is it going to effect my sound? I know that they are supposed to help you be able to reach the high notes and still have the great tone you do down low but, what are the plus`s of them and what are the negs? Are they really worth paying 60$ for? Also right now I play on a blessing 3c and I know this is quite a big step up in a type of mouthpiece. How much adjuating do you think it will take, and what size would be equivelent to my 3c? If you older more experienced players could help me it would be very greatly appriciated!!!!! Thank you !!!!---- Lindsey

Bach Megatones are just the same mouthpiece with more metal left on. They can give a slightly darker sound that slots better, but the difference is not very noticeable. Sometimes they do have larger throat sizes, which lets them blow a little more freely. The reason they cost more than a regular mouthpiece is because Bach overcharges for everything. They are no more costly to make than a regular mouthpiece. The equivalant size to a Blessing 3C is a Bach 3C.
