Ok, from the other thread, this trumpet newbie (trompit newbbie) is trying to say that trumpet reeds do exist, I, on the other hand, think they dont. I`ve seen where they put things on the bell to change the sound, but in the other thread, they say some people stick reeds into the mouthpiece. I don`t get it

oh course ... there are such things as SINGLE oboe and bassoon reeds that I had never seen before until ebay ... really strange ~ like VERY small clarinet reeds

I`ll post a picture sometime, since you guys seem to have never seen one. But, I`m going to have to find my digital camera and the cord, I just moved, so it might take awile to find all my stuff agian!

I agree with the sarrusophone guy. Sometimes they`re called trumpets... and they play like a brass bassoon.
