Any tips for playing trumpet for people with big lips.

I have huge lips and i play trumpet just fine so what do u mean do u find it hard to play with ur lips

I move the mpc down and expose some of the red of my lip in the high register.

ya dont do that it probably hurts dosnt it it hurts me try to keep the mouthpice in the center of ur lips and ur lips in the mouthpice and if u cant do that try something low brass

If you are playing in the red you need to move to a mouthpiece with a greater inner rim diameter remember to roll your lips as is saying the syllable "mm". the tendecy for player with big lips is to try to "hug" the outer rim with the lips which causes you to have a giant aperture which will lead to upper register trouble once you try to play over a concert Eb on the top stave.
