I am a trumpet player and am thinking about getting a Cornet. Can anyone reccomend any particularly good makes? ive got about £2,000 - £2,500 to spend.

`Imperial` Cornets are great. i played one when i used to play cornet. I loved it. Make sure u get a silver one! Gold sucks coz it wares of over time, and it looks terrible!

i got a new cornet at christmas id recommend a yamaha maestro professional model it has a really warm sound but can be hard2 clean with triggers dont get a gold 1 the lacker on mine is already wearn a bit and scratches easy
