Ok, here goes. It took me about three whole hours of mind racking and listening to this masterpiece until it lost all meaning...but I did it. I don`t know how to explain it quite properly, so here goes, and if there are any questions, feel free to e-mail me.
It begins in the key of A (3#s) with an echo effect on the melody obligatto for the first four measures (4/4 time) the top hand (which repeats two bars once) is C#5, A6, G#5, F#5, D5, A6, G#5, F#5 (all quarter notes). The bottom hand was a little more difficult, but I think this is how it should be played: A5 (or someother note in the A triad), F#4, A5, C#5 (all sixteenth notes) on the first beat and hold through the measure. The second measure is D4, F#4, A5, D5 (again sixteenth notes held through the measure). Repeat for the thrid and fourth bars. The top hand for the next four bars splits into two parts: the same quarter note melody, and another track that is all of the running upper hand stuff. The melody part is easy, it`s just what you`ve been playing for the last four measures, only up an octave. The running sixteenth part in measure six starts on 3e with an arpegio in D (from D6 up to D8), or in other words, it starts just after the G#6 in the 6th bar and goes D6, F#6, A7, D7, F#7, A8, D8 (all in sixteenth notes. It ends on a quarter note C#8 The running baseline figure starts in the key of F#madd9, or reads F#3, C#4, F#4, G#4, A5, C#5, F#5, A6, C#6, A6, F#5, C#5, A5, F#4, C#3, A4 all in sixteenths. The second measure is close, but in Dadd9, or D3, A4, D4, E4, F#4, A5, D5, E5, F#5, E5, D5, A5, F#4, D4, A4, D3, all in sixteenths, and repeat those two measures for measures seven and eight. The running topline in measure seven starts on 3e again, and is an F#m, or F#6, A7, C#7, F#7, A8, C#8 all in sixteenths. The technique in measure eight is all in sixlets of sixteenth notes that starts on beat 2 and reads A9, F#8, D8, F#8, D8, A7, D8, A7, F#7,A7, F#7, D6, F#7, D6, A6, D6, A6, and F#5.
In short, it would be very difficult to play this piece with only two hands, and I think that when whoever recorded this piece did so, they recorded multiple tracks with different parts. (The editing with the echo effect in the beggining is effective, but very difficult to reproduce.)
Anyways, again, if you have questions just e-mail me @ NorseGodX91@hotmail.com, and yes, I am single
