my band practices a lot, except for the low brass! ick! i hate it... i mean there's like two in the low brass that do, but that's not enuff. most of the ppl who r in band at my skool live for it, there are the random ones that do it for the "easy A" but most of us really luv music. haha, the name varies for us, some ppl call us "band fags" *coughcheerleaderscough* but most ppl just call us band geeks, and we don't mind. they're just jealous.

Oh man. I'm totally a theater freak.:D I'm in our community's summer play, High School Musical 2. I love drama freaks cuz they're so DRAMATIC!

Lol, I'm in the pit for our community play, Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Man, almost all the kids in my choir are in a youth playhouse called "Centerstage". It's huge for them...I'm not really interested. I prefer playing the music. Although I DO sing, obviously. I'm a little better at trombone than voice. But I'm pretty good at both...and then I pretend to play piano. :D

It makes me sad cuz one of our high schools does AMAZING like broadway worthy musicals, but the director hires the pit instead of using the students to play.

lol, on sunday i wrote a song for my mom:D
I sat at the piano, played some random chords and sang "I love my mom, cuz she is the bomb!"
and finished up with some more happy little chords:D

Oh I can sing. But only in the shower do I sing well. Everywhere else everyone screams and covers their ears.

I might take piano or organ lessons if I have time this summer.

I quit piano after taking up trombone. I still accompany sometimes, and play for pleasure. I've played for 10 years.

haha. I totally failed at our full orchestra concert/festival yesterday and today

but i totally did awesome on my solo at our band concert... sooo!

BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!! 2day during band we just worked on scale test........... 'twas very boring................. and we're doing CRTs an that sux too..... i hate filling in little bubbles!!!!!!!!! but it's almost over so im happy. I DON'T GET TO GO TO OUR CONCERT SUMMER BAND!! im sooooooo mad! i have to go to a church camp. *sniffle*

AHHH! SAME HERE! (bout the camp and stuff. cept mines just a parade were marching in)

So I guess our orchestra performance at festival wasn't a total fail. We got a 1.

Sigh. i'm going to be totally bored tonight because I'm getting a pedicure with my mom and sis, and so I couldn't go with my friends to their lake. oh well. I'll guess I'll be a true band geek and practice tonight.

uggg...my summer is like, well, school.
LEts see, I have 1 week of free time, and that's only because I'm not going to "honors boot camp".
I've got Idywild Music Camp, Band Camp, Playing at the Parade around here, theres a special "training thing" to play in it, PE in the summer for 2 weeks, 6 hours a day because band takes up my foreign language spot at my highschool, so I need to do PE in the summer, and take language in the period I would normally take PE, more band camp, honors projects, then school...
All the band stuff is fun, but my summer still sucks.
