Hey everyone, it's that time of year again! That's right MARCHING SEASON! Just wanting to know all the different shows out there and learn about other types of marching bands, the shows, and music! I'll go first...

My band's 2010 repotoire is called "Multiplicity". It's a simple yet complex show his year. Our opening song is based on "Pulsation" the concert band song. I'm not sure what our other songs are or are based on but they're amazing! I get a solo in our ballad this year again! It's gonna be fun...but extremely stressful...Our closer is an upbeat song that somewhat reminds me or "Duel Of Fates" off of Star Wars. Hahaha

So what's everybodys shows this year?!?!

Crazy request, but maybe someone here can help me.

I live on a street where all the kids and parents are really tight and have kids in band and orchestra ranging from 5th grade to 8th grade. Our kids all play instruments and us parents are all were band geeks in school. We want to get a marching band together for our community's Christmas parade.

It is more about having fun than being very good. We thought it would be hysterical if we could pull off few Christmas tunes (Jingle Bells and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, perhaps) and of course, Eye of the Tiger. No marching band is complete without Eye of the Tiger!

We have two alto saxophones, a trumpet, a trombone, a clarinet or two, a flute, drums and possibly a keyboard, violin and cello.

Where could I find really elementary arrangements for something like this?

You might try the webiste "sheetmusicplus.com" There you can go to a tab called concert band or something close to that. There you can look up pieces of music by level, song, arranger, etc.
